Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PromoReel ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, shares and protects your information when you use our website and video creation service at postviralvideos.xyz (the "Service"). It also covers data we receive through Facebook, Instagram and Facebook Login, as required by the Meta Platform Terms and the Facebook Developer Policies.

1. Who we are

PromoReel is a service that creates promotional videos from your website content and posts them to your own YouTube, Facebook and Instagram accounts. You can reach us at any time through the contact details in section 14.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We do not see or store your Google password.
• Content you provide: website links you submit, the text, captions, titles and hashtags you enter or that our tools generate for you, and any images or logos you upload.
• Generated content: the videos we create for you, including their files and thumbnails.
• Social media connection data: if you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram account or YouTube channel, we store the account identifiers, page or channel names, and the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf. These tokens are stored securely and are never shown in the app.
• Facebook and Instagram data received through Facebook Login: your public profile information, the list of Facebook Pages you manage, and basic Instagram account details. We receive only the permissions you approve on the Facebook consent screen.
• Usage and technical data: basic records of when you use the Service and which features you use, kept to operate and improve the Service.

We do not collect sensitive financial information, government identifiers, or special categories of personal data.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Create your account and let you sign in.
• Generate videos from the website links and content you provide, including writing captions with AI tools.
• Publish approved videos and captions to the YouTube, Facebook and Instagram accounts you have connected, exactly as you directed.
• Store and display your videos, images and post history inside the app.
• Detect and fix problems, prevent abuse, and keep the Service secure.
• Communicate with you about your account, your videos and important service updates.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Data received through Facebook and Instagram

If you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram account through Facebook Login:

• We use that data only to provide the Service: connecting your account, showing you which page or profile is connected, and publishing the posts you approve.
• We do not use, transfer or sell Facebook or Instagram data for advertising, for data brokers, for AI training, or for any purpose unrelated to the Service.
• We do not share Facebook or Instagram data with any third party except the service providers listed in section 6, and only as needed to run the Service.
• We do not collect data from other apps on your Facebook profile, and we do not post anything without your prior approval inside the app.

5. AI processing

Caption and text generation is performed by an AI provider acting on our behalf. The text you submit and the website content you ask us to read are sent to that provider solely to generate your captions. Your connected social account data is never sent to AI providers.

6. Service providers we share data with

We share your information only with the providers needed to run the Service:

• Our hosting and database provider, which stores your account, videos and files.
• Google, to publish videos to your YouTube channel when you approve them.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to publish posts to your connected Page and Instagram account when you approve them.
• An AI provider, to generate captions, as described in section 5.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies, which apply when you interact with their platforms.

7. Data retention and deletion

• Your videos, uploads and captions are kept while your account is active.
• You can delete individual videos from the Library at any time; the files are removed with them.
• You can disconnect a social account at any time from the Accounts page; the stored access token is deleted immediately.
• If you remove our app from your Facebook settings (Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Remove), Facebook notifies us and we delete your connected account data, tokens, queued posts and associated files within 7 days.
• You can also request full account deletion as described on our Data Deletion page; verified requests are completed within 7 days.
• Backups may retain deleted data for a limited period (up to 90 days) before being permanently erased.

Videos already published to YouTube, Facebook or Instagram remain on those platforms; delete them there directly if you want them removed.

8. Security

We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and database rules that keep every account's data visible only to its owner. Social media access tokens are stored with column-level restrictions so they are never sent to the app in your browser. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain processing. If you are in India, these rights also arise under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. To exercise any right, contact us using the details in section 14 and we will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 18 without a parent's consent, where required). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Cookies and sign-in

We use only the essential cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and make the Service work. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. We will post the new version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.

13. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the locations of our hosting, AI and platform providers. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
